Is there anything else I should be aware of before purchasing my ESA letter?
Before purchasing your ESA letter, it’s important to know that all recommendations are reviewed by licensed practitioners. Support Pets cannot guarantee approval if the provider determines an ESA is not clinically appropriate for your situation. You’ll receive a full refund if you don’t qualify. A licensed practitioner will review your submission, and depending on requirements in your area, they may also need to connect with you to ask additional questions. Also, be prepared to share your ESA letter with your landlord in advance so they have time to review it.
*CA, MT and IA residents: timelines will be longer as a minimum 30-day relationship between healthcare provider and patient is required. ESAs don’t have public-access rights like service animals, and California prohibits misrepresenting a pet as a service animal.
