What if my landlord denies additional ESAs?

Landlords may ask for additional documentation when more than one Emotional Support Animal is requested. Under Fair Housing guidelines, each ESA must serve a distinct emotional or psychological purpose.

Support Pets allows you to request a second ESA during the evaluation process. If the licensed practitioner determines both animals are appropriate, your letter can be updated to reflect this. Please note: Support Pets only issues ESA letters for dogs and cats.
