Will my ESA be permitted to go into public businesses?

Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) aren’t guaranteed access to public places under the ADA. Restaurants, stores, and other businesses don’t have to allow them. That said, some places might say yes, especially if your pet is well-behaved and you call ahead.

Support Pets provides ESA letters issued by licensed practitioners, which confirm that your animal supports your mental or emotional well-being. While the letter can help in conversations, access is ultimately at the discretion of each business.
